Warflow
Warflow is a Free browser game set in Chinese history. Deploy and lead your troops to fight!
World Of Warcraft is never a new title no matter in whatever age group’s talk, but World of LordCraft is a new expression in our impressions. Seemingly, World of Lordcraft is an occult gadget, thus you are interested in exploring the depth of the game.
Palpably, World of Lordcraft is motivated and inspired by World of Warcraft, while it has been totally “modified”. As far I know, the game is developed by Shanghai-based studios and published in 2009 for Chinese gamers. So I moved on to the Chinese gaming sites, hoping to find something that may help people interested in the game.
1, Title
I should say the game title sounds great and cool. At the first hearing, it will attract players and even brings the first-visited players back to the game. World of Lordcraft, from this respect, is a success. Basically, we heard Empire Craft, Lords Online, so possibly, the studios crafted the Title driven by the combination of both game’s titles.
2, Features:
The game is an indigenous Chinese browser game for sure, because the artworks are nothing but the world of warcraft. That is what I want to say. However the ingame graphics are the same as Lords Online, Empire Craft, and Kingory offers.
City, Outside city, Production, City building, Battle, Wildland, wait… did you find something new? Never a new single stroke of feature among a handful of words.
3, Micro-transaction
Like no other NA, OR EU games, but like other Chinese games, World Of Lordcraft also use Micro transaction to roll player’s money, I do believe the team will introduce a Gambling or betting system that is most popular in the browser game system, especially in Chinese browser game system.
4, Building
In World of Lordcraft, you will find the buildings absolutely the same like Empire Craft provides with. Definitely, the inside resources said the team directly copied the mini icons or avatars to publish. That saves a lot of time, doesn’t it?
5, Bugs
1) Heroes Stuck
When I am talking about Heroes STUCK, It means your heroes missing. Never ever expect World of lordcraft will not run into such problem. It will definitely do while you are digging, battling, and reinforcing.
2) Troops Missing
Troops missing, of course is annoying. What is worse, there is no way to find a proper way to handle on the condition.
3) Refresh
most of browser games are real time strategy games, so each time you build, or train, the system will refresh accordingly. In World of Lordcraft, the fact is not true. You need to press F5 to refresh.
4) minus
Can you imagine your population take on a minus quantity? Most of the times, the calculation is closed bounded up with the population and building requirement. Probably, when you demolish a building, your population will become negative or the requirement will be totally messed up.
5)No-detailed game description.
If you played Empire craft ever, you would find the game description does not make sense and even not match the real effects. The same is true in World of Lordcraft.
6)Copyright
I was keenly concerned about the copyright. In China, there is out of question that no such “speechcraft”.
Overall,
That is all.

The Western culture values individuality and innovation. Chinese culture values conformity. Which is why there is so much copying and imitation.
The current glut of Chinese browser games are obviously based on Civilisation. This was made into a persistent world to create a MMORTS, which is a strange idea as to play it properly you need to be online 24/7!!
The game that started it was in the Chinese language and is called ReXueSanGuo, sometimes abbreviated to RXSG. All the others are direct copies using either the same code or reverse engineering. RXSG was a great success in China but made it to the west after its imitators. Here it is called Kingory. In China there is no real understanding of the concept of copyright.
On the Chinese hacker websites you can buy the RXSG code for just a few hundred dollars. Then all you need is a theme, new graphics (often copied), a small change in the game mechanic and you are in business. Things like terms and conditions are also copied.
Because of the success of Evony we are into imitation again with many Chinese companies copying the Evony business model of tit advertising on Google. The real investment is in this advertising, the game costs very little to make and support.

No the individual collective argument is not why some Chinese companies plagiarize. These companies find an existing business model and duplicate it, knowing that the Chinese government will not enforce the law.

The game is very buggy. There are issues that some individuals have exploited to create massive armies with close to a million troops. Compare this against the few hundred an average player can create and you see the problem. The WoL management has not cared to address the expoit. I’m guessing they may be the ones playing.
Hackers rule this game. If you are not one of them, stay away.
